At Bhavans Pearl Wisdom School, all students receive an equal and fair opportunity. I realized this when the elections for the student council were held. I am very thankful to the school for giving me this opportunity to comprehend the true essence of leadership. This year the student council has been very involved in the innovation programmes in the overall improvement of the school. My journey as a school captain has been an eventful and a rewarding one.

I was bestowed the honour of being the school captain for the academic year 2022-23. The responsibilities and expectations that come with the role of school captain are vast and extremely rewarding. I represented the school and felt immensely honoured. As the captain, I was often pushed out of my comfort zone, and this has definitely made me feel a lot more social and confident as well. I wish all the best to the upcoming school council members.

My school encourages us to develop our leadership skills by giving us responsibilities through student council activities. The support and care given by our teachers makes us feel safe at school. Discipline in school helps us stay focused on our goals and helps instill the value of righteousness.

Pearl Wisdom School motivates, encourages, and provides a lot of opportunities to students. This has helped us in being confident and responsible individuals. I serve as the Happiness Ambassador of the school. It has been a very delightful experience to undertake this role. I enjoy seeing and making others smile because just with a smile first thing in the morning, everyone is warmed up for the day. One of the quotes I would like to share about happiness is “there is only one way to happiness in life – to love and to be loved”. What makes me happy the most is that I got a chance to make others smile. I am grateful to my teachers, Headmistress and my dear Principal for trusting me with this role.

My experience this year as the President of Cultural Club has been a very interesting and an exciting one too. I had the opportunity to host various assemblies, speak in front of chief guests, undertake many responsibilities and complete my duties. We added value during the parent teachers meeting. On various occasions we could contribute towards innovations and improvement initiatives in school. It was a hectic but exhilarating year.

The school life at PWS is vibrant and innovative. The responsibilities given to me as a student council member made me more confident and gave me enumerable opportunities to work as a team. PWS always leads us towards the path of growth and by carrying the torch of wisdom. I even got an opportunity to win laurel for the school and I am proud of my achievement.

I am honoured to serve the Student Council and to be part of it. I got elected as the school’s Secretary Editorial. My role is designing school magazines and writing informational articles regarding the school. We take rounds in every class to make our friends aware of the various school activities and we also collect and display the works. I am honoured to take up this role and serve the school and I hope to be in the student council next year too.

I have been a student council member of PWS for 3 consecutive years. During the first year I was very hesitant and afraid that I would not be able to fulfil the responsibilities of being a leader.
